Two ingredients made for each other
Salmon and avocado is one of the best-loved pairings in sushi, and for good reason. The salmon is tender with a natural, buttery richness. The avocado is creamier still, yet mild and neutral. Together they make a roll with no rough edges – rounded, fresh and pleasantly filling.
Our salmon comes from Norway, exactly as stated on the menu. The roll is made inside-out: sushi rice on the outside, nori on the inside. That keeps it soft to bite and lets the salmon and avocado do the talking.
Roll or maki? The difference on our menu
You will find salmon and avocado on our menu in two forms. The Salmon & Avocado Roll is an inside-out roll, 4 pieces for CHF 12.00. The salmon avocado maki is smaller and rolled the classic way with nori on the outside, at CHF 10.00 for 6 pieces.
Each piece of the roll is larger and, with the rice outside, tastes a touch milder; the maki is more compact with a stronger seaweed note. Curious? Order one of each and compare.
